Pound lifts to give currency lift in Europe

Destinations in the Eurozone are offering more value than last summer with the Pound strengthening 2.97% year on year. It gives travellers 583.50 Euros on a £500 budget compared to 566.65 Euros last year – enough for lunch for two in a Parisian café. Flying from Edinburgh

The list of flights out of Edinburgh airport makes for impressive reading. Offering services to over 120 domestic and international destinations, the travelling public is spoilt for choice. Hardly surprising then, that the BAA operated airport – the sixth largest in the UK – is currently catering for around 9.1m passengers a year, numbers that are expected to increase to over 13m over the next few years.
