Things to do in the garden in February

Grow Your Own If you have a vegetable patch or an allotment and you are planning to grow cabbages, sprouts, broccoli, cauliflowers or any other brassicas, you may need to lime the area to raise the alkalinity as these vegetable do better in alkaline soil.
